Curatorial Census [Of Exhibitive Tendencies] is an ambivalent questionnaire. In a persistent dialogue between efforts/embankments and their implementation, the ‘Census’ surveys the dynamics of agency, accessibility, and labor. Is the census is a quasi-event of seeing [it all], or deciding there’s nothing there? Is the census an image of a world haunted by the tension of it’s own world-making, on an embagination of space? An ultra-violet return to the inadaquacies of the former self? I hope the census lingers, compels, and disjunctures the spatial tension between image, memory, and implementation.
